Job Description

Implement and monitor Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) plans for concrete works.

Inspect and approve raw materials (cement, aggregates, admixtures, etc.).

Supervise and make concrete mix design and ensure compliance with project specifications.

Monitor batching plant operations and ensure calibration of equipment.

Conduct on-site quality tests such as slump test, compressive strength test, etc.

Ensure proper placement, compaction, finishing, and curing of concrete.

Prepare quality reports, inspection records, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).

Coordinate with site teams, contractors, and consultants for quality compliance.

Investigate and resolve quality issues, suggesting corrective and preventive measures.

Responsibilities

Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.

6-8 years of experience in QA/QC for concrete works.

Strong knowledge of concrete technology, mix design, and testing standards.

Familiarity with QA/QC documentation, ISO standards, and safety practices.

Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications / Skills

• Certification in Quality Management / Concrete Technology. Experience in infrastructure or high-rise building projects.
